Microneedling Radiofrequency treats melasma, diffuse redness, rosacea, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It is also effective in reducing fine lines and big pores, brightening skin tone, and rejuvenating the skin in general.
How Microneedling Radiofrequency works
Developed in Silicon Valley, the device delivers a therapeutic electromagnetic field of energy through an array of micro-insulated needles that penetrate the dermis at adjustable depths. The microneedling process invigorates the body’s natural healing cascade, triggering collagen and elastin generation, while the pulsed radiofrequency energy selectively targets the basement membrane zone, where abnormal vessels and pigment-producing cells are often concentrated.
Furthermore, the innovative SR3 (Selective Regional Regeneration Radio Repeated Pulse) technology enables the device to target abnormal blood vessels and pigmentation selectively without harming the surrounding healthy tissue, thereby, promoting melanin (pigment) regulation, vascular normalisation, and collagen remodelling.
Many individuals have a compromised basement membrance due to sun exposure and intrinsic ageing. Remodelling this very layer between the epidermis and dermis prevents the migration of pigment cells to the deeper dermal layer. The treatment targets the root causes of melasma by regulating hyperactive melanocytes (pigment cells), strengthening damaged basement membrane, removing abnormal blood vessels in the skin, and increasing collagen and young fibroblast production.
You may observe some lightening and a smoother skin texture after the first session. Full results are usually observed after 5 sessions, the treatment sessions are performed once every 3 weeks.
The treatment is virtually painless with numbing cream.
Immediately following the treatment, there may be some mild redness and swelling which typically resolves within an hour.
Most patients are able to resume activities immediately post-treatment.
Exosomes are tiny vesicles or “bubbles” released by various cells in the human body. They contain bioactive molecules such as growth factors, amino acids, lipids and peptides. These nanoparticles act as messengers and transmit signals to unhealthy cells, triggering them to regenerate. As ageing occurs, our skin cells shrink and exosomes deplete, exosome treatment allows fresh exosomes to swoop in to instruct skin cells to repair and regenerate. Depending on the signal transmitted, this results in an exponential increase in collagen and elastin, reduced pigment production, improved wound healing, and reduced inflammation. Skin becomes visibly plumper, firmer, brighter, and smoother.
The exosomes we use at s.k.MED are extracted meticulously from botanical stem cells and processed using patented technology. The end product is highly purified, contains 49.2 billion particles, more than 1000 types of growth factors and regenerative proteins, and together with premier activators, ensures a holistic experience in skin rejuvenation.
The following six images depict the penetration of exosome nano particles into the skin over 24 hours.

The exosome treatment is performed alongside microneedling or laser therapy. These procedures create micro-channels in the skin which facilitate the penetration and absorption of the exosomes. In addition, exosomes work synergistically with the skin’s natural healing processes to maximise the benefits of the device-based treatments.

This is an innovative skin rejuvenation treatment that combines the benefits of polynucleotides (PN) and hyaluronic acid (HA) in a single injectable solution. Derived from salmon or trout DNA, polynucleotides are known for their regenerative properties, they enhance skin’s renewal ability, improve elasticity, and exert an anti-inflammatory effect. While polynucleotides increase fibroblast, elastin, and collagen production, HA focuses on hydration due to its ability to retain many times its weight in water, think of it as a sponge, absorbing and holding water. As ageing occurs, the body’s ability to produce HA reduces, replenishment of HA creates luminous and dewy skin by drawing water back into cells.
This injectable treatment offers a unique combination of skin-boosting ingredients, providing immediate hydration from HA and regenerative effects from PN. It addresses multiple signs of ageing and skin concerns in a single treatment, and is ideal for anyone looking for a fuss-free experience with rapid results.
The treatment is safe and can be performed every month.
The treatment is a lot more comfortable than other injectables due to the addition of lidocaine, which reduces pain. In addition, numbing cream will be applied before treatment.
Long-Pulsed Nd YAG Laser is a powerful technology designed to safely and effectively treat a wide range of skin concerns. This non-invasive procedure is ideal for patients seeking smoother, clearer, and more youthful-looking skin without downtime.
What Is Long-Pulsed Nd YAG Laser?
The Nd YAG laser operates at a wavelength of 1064 nm, which allows it to penetrate deeper into the skin than many other lasers. When used in long-pulsed mode, it targets vascular lesions, pigmented areas, hair follicles, and stimulates collagen production for a comprehensive photorejuvenation effect. The treatment is safe for all skin types, including tanned skin.
The treatment addresses multiple conditions which include:
For photorejuvenation, at least 5 sessions, with a session done once every 3 weeks. For maintenance, every 2 months. For hair removal and vascular treatments, the number of sessions will vary, your treatment plan will be personalised.
Photorevelation is usually combined with BBL to boost overall rejuvenation.
Reveal clearer, younger-looking skin with the power of Broadband Light (BBL) therapy—an advanced, non-invasive treatment that targets the signs of ageing, sun damage, acne, and uneven skin tone.
How It Works
BBL delivers pulses of high-intensity pulsed light (IPL) into the skin, gently heating the upper layers. This stimulates collagen production and targets pigment irregularities without damaging surrounding tissue. The result is smoother, brighter, and healthier-looking skin.

Local Dynamic Micro-Massage (LDM) treats skin problems in the epidermis and dermis. It utilises dual-frequency ultrasound technology at high frequencies to exert a strong micro-massage effect on tissue structures. The micro-massage activates fibroblasts, rejuvenates the skin matrix and connective tissue, enhances collagen cross-linking, and encourages healing at a cellular level. It treats a variety of dermatological issues and medical aesthetics concerns, improving overall skin health without any downtime.
1. Reduces “bad enzymes” Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMPS)
MMPs contribute to inflammation and collagen degradation, they also appear to be involved in connective tissue metabolic disorders resulting in conditions such as acne, eczema and dermatitis. Inhibiting MMPs returns the skin back to its normal collagen metabolic state.
2. Activates HSPs (heat shock proteins)
HSPs aid in skin immunity and strengthens its ability to heal. They are produced to help the skin combat stressful conditions such as exposure to extreme temperatures and UV radiation.
3. Increase GAGs (glycosaminoglycans)
GAGs accelerate cell metabolism and hyaluronan content in skin. By increasing tissue turgor, it improves texture, tone and strengthens the skin barrier.
Skin Ageing and Laxity
Fine lines, wrinkles, prominent nasolabial folds and marionette lines, skin rejuvenation and firming, body firming and toning.
Treatment of Chronic Skin Conditions
Dryness, acne, rosacea, flushing.
Scar Regeneration & Wound Healing
Hypertrophic scars, stretch marks, bruises.
Most ultrasound systems use a single frequency, typically in the range of 1 to a maximum of 5 MHz, the therapeutic effect is thus far below the superficial skin layers. LDM uses a special frequency of 10 MHz other than 1 and 3MHz, which allows the energy to work effectively on the epidermis and dermis, where disease processes take place. In addition, the system switches and combines frequencies at timed intervals, ensuing better dynamic pressure distribution in the tissue over several skin layers.
After cleansing the skin, a layer of gel is applied onto the treatment area, an ultrasound probe is then gently rolled over the intended area. The treatment is comfortable without any pain and downtime.
The treatment ranges from 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the indication or condition.
While improvement may be observed after just one session, for optimal and full results, LDM should be performed once every week or fortnight for the first six weeks. Maintenance sessions are recommended once every month to two months.
Dermatological conditions such as eczema or psoriasis may need up to eight treatments and in more complex and severe cases, ten to sixteen sessions.
Although LDM is a great treatment on its own, results are augmented when combined with other medical facial services, energy-based devices or injectables. In fact, it helps shorten procedural downtime by reducing inflammation, and increasing cell regeneration and metabolism.
Yes, LDM is suitable and safe for all skin types and colour.
